There is just something sweet and a little naughty about the whole thing...
I want to know what they are saying to one another, or if they aren't saying anything, then I want to know what they are each thinking...
Like:
One is thinking it is beautiful and inspiring but she shouldn't say anything
One is thinking it is shameful and is making small clucking sounds
One is turned on and slowly blushing out of control

Common Threads

I should have said the other thing first

A woman sits at a desk...the desk starts to move, the chair unfolds..
She was writing, and is still moving to write, but is getting stuck in the thought she was last in.
Her eyes and face are as involved in the dance and gestures as the rest of her body...

She might rewind and go back to the moment when she made the statement that should have waited until the last part of her statement was said.

I wonder if the listener will be able to hear her as if the wrong part hadn't come first --
Can any of us listen that way?

Across a Crowded Room

I have a good friend that says he can feel when I am about to jump on his back...

Might be because I have a really hard time staying on the ground around people I know can take my weight...

I was at a party last night and thought of a new piece....
Not bad since I am in the midst of writing proposals, etc...
So, suddenly finding someone who can make me a 6 or 8 foot high elephant seems really important.

In Between Sets

I'm in the in-between limbo that happens after a project (or series) has completed, closed, what-have-you, and the moment before the next thing begins....I'm writing grants, proposals, project ideas, platforms, soapboxes, bad poetry, you name it, I'm writing it---
It helps me focus...
I'm fanasizting about all of that writing (except the bad poetry) becoming a reality in afew months or even a year, and I've got my fingers crossed that I have the gumption and the talent to get it all done.
