Today while shooting Drew's movie (Bloodmask, see post below) we discovered that my android character has a very ...very...squeaky voice, a tough time remembering simple lines - is good at standing still and walking towards the camera looking menacing --
Pleasure for the Empire: Killing an android I'm making a movie with friends.... Fun stuff.. I'm a Maria-Class android named Salome. I died my first day on set. I have to wear a freak white wig and lots of white makeup. It was fun. I'm looking forward to doing it again - but I have to say - Actors rule in the patience department - and guess what? You can't do a headstand in a wig. bummer.
A boost for a good and damn talented friend (and very brave with this money idea...) TO BE SEEN at PS 122 February 15 - 19 2006 Wednesday-Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 4:30 p.m. $20($10 Members)
"...a light of the downtown dance and theatre scene"- The New Yorker
Sara Juli is determined to let go of her "money issues" by literally letting go of her life savings and putting $5000 into the hands of audience members every night. While some question her sanity and others her ability to go through with it, all that she has will be up for grabs.
In this high-stakes dance and live art experiment directed by Chris Ajemian, Juli fuses text, movement and cold hard cash to send up and surmount problems of net-worth and self-worth in an unexpectedly rewarding way.
