it is the connotation of options...as in
this is one possibility...there are many more to be chosen from....
It's the ending for right now.
It can change for another version of the same work.
Most things do.

Yes, yes, and yes. Good thing to remember. It's also true that sometimes going back to original intentions can be very clarifying, after one has spent awhile in the thicket, pruning and avoiding the thorns. And as you know, another important word in the development process, is 'development'. We always forget that we don't have to have all the answers yet, much as we may think we do. It's funny, isn't it, how sometimes having many possibilities is overwhelming rather than exciting? If we can pick anything, how do we choose which is the best one for now? The nice thing about art, we usually have the option to try a different choice later...
