Toes in Sand and Head in the Clouds

Our individual life dances are made from a deep internal rhythm. That rhythm is partially built from the spots on this earth that speak to us -

My soul feels most at home near moving water- I could sit and watch it for hours. Any kind of moving water will do, really - but an expansive beach is a core connection spot for me....

Where is your soul spot?

Hmm... I also love moving water, whether it's ocean, river, or waterfall. The latter is probably the most magical for me, as it combines water with hills or mountains. As a Midwesterner, I have a deep fondness for open spaces, and flat lands. I often forget this, but I need a big vista on a regular basis. Forests and mountains also move me deeply, too. Lush, cool green places seem to move me the most. I've never been in a desert, and suspect that would feel very alien. My short time in Florida showed me that tropical is NOT my bag. No,whether it's Indiana, New England, Ireland, the Pacific Northwest or similar environs, those are the places that feed my soul best.

Densely, deciduously forested mountains. No question.
