Note to Self III or Side Step (but still VERY important)

I have to tell you something.
I have an overdeveloped sense of "Me Do" while simultaneously getting caught up in snares of wacked funds, injections of art-fear and a tangled bit of self-devaluing.

After a conversation this morning.....my breast-plate, and sense of what I hold back in myself is cracked open in a way it hasn't been in years.

I am busting up and through these barriers of my own glaceing.
Everything takes time. Healing, revelations and dances.
But. All of those things also take action. Here we go. Thanks for listening.

Mouth off...Nicely

Here I am. standing near you.
Does it move/nudge/interest you?
Have the cells of your skin moved at all?
Am I thinking too much?
Of course I am. I always am. That's how dances get made.
But wait. I know where the hairs on your arm are, I know what you'll do if I lean back into you
Or I think I...
wait.
Here I go again, again.
If
I close my eyes I remember what your lips feel like. the soft curve.
Stubble (I'm always a day late)
and that I always want an extra one.
Either they are nice or I am greedy.........perhaps both.

and there it is. The empty has moved its way into my mind. I question words, over think moments and melodramatically consider never speaking to you again.
But I can't do that -
Souls connect and
"part of you pours out of me in these lines from time to time."
so for now I'll think about
Leaning backwards and getting caught by desire,
Consider reaching out to be lightly kissed...
Find contentment with my independence and empty while making fabulous mind altering revelations about my own near and far future.

Birds and Lions

Still questioning -
In part because of life....but also because this is the "questions" time of the new work process.

If each choice in life was a flat, rounded river rock... where would it fit best under your feet?

What does it really mean to know what you want?

There was a while in life where I was quite convinced that if I felt I knew what would happen, if I could see it in my mind - then that was exactly what wouldn't happen. At that point it occurred to me that what you want should not be limited by your imagination.
Since our imaginings are only what we have seen, or read, or experienced, or can fantasize about.... all of those, even to their highest extreme, are not as boundless as life's possibilities.

For instance "If you can dream it, you can become it" - what if that stems from something a bit less fabulous and more wordy like
"If you've thought of it it's probably because you are capable of it so shut up and go for it."
Less fantastic and heroic yes, but it has a ring of truth to it...no?
Anyway, it's just a thought.

I have dreams of flight.
The first dream of flight I can remember is combined with falling down the stairs in the farmhouse I grew up in.
I was pretty little. I was still having dreams with my favorite blanket involved. (Leo. He was shaped like a lion.)

In the dream, I was attempting a luge-like maneuver via Leo.
(Don't try this at home...stairs don't work like a luge track. Considering the late discovery of this fact, I got lucky.)
As Leo and I bumped down the first set of stairs and came around the corner to take on the final, much longer set..... we took flight.
Ok, yes we were still inside, going down the stairs.....
but the bumpy ride had suddenly stopped, yet we were still going.
It was a gentle, swooping decent down that staircase.

Batman.....

Ok - I have to tell you
I read Paul Pope's Batman all in one sitting (practically)
and then that night dreamt two things
1. that I was Batman
2. I needed to help Batman get out of a horrible situation.

Personally, I'm more inclined to believe choice 1.

Time to go to sleep and save unsuspecting Gothamers from underground rings of death, despair and servitude.
